All voters in Minnesota can choose to vote before Election Day by absentee ballot without providing a reason. You can vote by mail, or you can vote early in-person, starting 46 days before each election. The DFL Primary Election is August 14th.

To vote by mail, apply to have an absentee ballot mailed to you. You do not need to be registered to apply.

Although the DFL Primary Election Day is August 14th, summer can be very busy, take advantage of this convenient option and avoid lines on Election Day.
